I am looking for a tv tuner watching software. details…?

All I want to do with it is watch my ps2 video output on my PC monitor through the tv tuner card I have. I am using my PC monitor to play my ps2 with, by putting the video signal through the tv tuner card. What I need is a software that will let me view this video in fullscreen mode. Saving video and the like is not needed, just to view the video in fullscreen. I have beeen all over the internet for a program like it, and I am also getting information to write my own program. Please can someone direct me to some software to allow me to do what I am tring to do.

Watching video in full screen is a function of your video card and the s/w of your TV tuner card.

The s/w of your TV tuner card should give you the option to play your captured video in full screen. If not, perhaps you can try a different video capture card or use some other s/w app. that can interact with it, such as Windows Movie Maker.

Has anyone PURCHASED a TV/PC SOFTWARE? Thus eliminating cable monthly bills?

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

I have been getting this in my junk mail. However it seems to be what I am looking for.
This product of more than 6 years of engineering and
online TV experience. The development cost
of this product is more than $148,650,
taking more than 2 years to develop and
6 months of intensive testing and user feedback to develop.
This program was literally created by people
who spend their time in front of computers,
just so that they can watch TV on their computer.

Just less than $50.00 just a one time charge. Beats paying that damn monthly cable bill.

•Turns your PC into a SuperTV
•Gives you Instant Access to 1,000 of TV channels and clips!
•Does Not Require extra hardware.
•Lets you Start watching in Minutes.
•Is Easy to use, No PC knowledge required?

Who has used the software(for a fee) to watch tv on a pc?

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Are the companies that offer software(for a fee) to watch tv on my pc a good choice, or are they "too good to be true’?
I want to watch live tv like "American Idol" or "Oprah" on my computer instead of paying the ridiculous prices for cable or satellite. Are these offers of "thousands of channels" valid?
None of the websites will actually tell what their channel line-up is, which concerns me.
Please let me know if you have tried this, and what you thought of the service they offer.

These services are scams. All they do is offer you access to free stuff that anyone can access. They don’t give you cable channels or anything like that. If you want to watch live TV on your PC, you need a tuner card and probably a set of rabbit ears to pull in the signal. You will only be able to watch shows on channels that you receive over the airwaves. This is the only way to watch live TV on your PC unless the channel offers a live stream, which most don’t. You can watch TV later on sites like hulu.com, abc.com etc. But the only way to get cable channels is to pay for them.

Can I watch multiple channels at same time on pc? using built in tv tuner?

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

I have a tv tuner on my pc. I use windows media center to watch tv and was wondering if i could use another media center software and watch another channel at same time. Like run both of them at same time. If its possible what other software do i need?

You won’t be able to watch multiple shows at once, no matter what you do, if you install another program to watch live TV it will conflict with your other program that’s using the TV Tuner. But what I think you are looking for is the ability to record more then 1 show at once. You can do this with Windows Media Center but you also need an additional TV tuner. To record 2 shows at once, or record one show and watch another at the same time, 2 tuners are required. Just get an identical Tuner like you have now, install it and run through the Media Center setup and you should be good to go. If for some reason you don’t have enough PCI/PCIe slots on your PC, you can purchase a dual TV Tuner card, two tuners built into the 1 card.

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Does anyone know of any companies out here that could provlde me with that? The main puropse here is that I want to watch the Green Bay Packers regular and post season games live.

Please don’t give me internet links telling me I can watch a live feed of the games for free because I can’t. Due to licensing agreements, those don’t work here.
I have tried to get NASN, but you need cable for that, and we have satelite TV only. Any other suggestions?
