I am planning on buying a Yellow Dell Inspiron 1525 just after christmas from www.dell.co.uk/tv for £329 and i would like to know what Internet Security is the best out there to buy?? i would like to get my Internet Security before i get the laptop so i can install it striaght away when i get it!! but i have no idea about software and internet security suites or anything like that?? which is the best?? i am looking to spend no more than £100 but i want to buy a good Internet Security that is really good and works!! please please help????

I recently started watching some shows via Hulu. I have a wireless network and a laptop, so it’s fairly convenient. I’d like to somehow wirelessly stream Hulu (or youtube, or whatever else is on my computer) to my tv. I’ve looked at lots of options but haven’t found one that seems quite right. Ideally, I’d like to be able to control it via a remote.

If it helps, I’m also looking to buy a new video game system, but it doesn’t seem that the Wii, PS3 or XBox 360 will do this. I’ve looked into Playon.tv, but I don’t think it’s worth $40 just for software.

There are a few methods.

1.) Buy a cheap wireless antenna, and hook it up to you plasma. Most modern plasmas have ethernet ports for antennas.

2.) Connect you laptop to the TV (HDMI, VGA, etc)

3.) Download your video content, buy a PS3, and stream the media via PS3 Media Server (My preferred method if you have a fast internet)

I am connected to the internet via proxy (college LAN). I know the proxy server and port. TVU and sopcast doesnt work on proxies. Please tel me a good software. (also for live cricket)..

Your best option pal is to watch movies on www.ovguide.com or to watch live streams at justin.tv. they both have everything you need from adult to documentaries!

I need to know which program that’s free to download is the best for exporting media from a DVD so that you can mess with it on Premiere (a video editing software). I also want the media to remain high quality so i can watch my finished movie on a nice TV.

I’m thinking about buying a sling box pro. The reviews are all good (with the exception of people that say beware of the additional software you have to buy if your internet connection isn’t close to the box…or something to that effect…but even those people say that once they get those kinks ironed out, it’s worth it). Then there are websites that have all sorts of software you can download such as dim-blog.com (they only charge you 7.95 and apparently you can watch tv all you want)

Which is the best way to go? Any suggestions on software or products to help me with this decision. Thanks!
