Webflock.info – Internet TV Software and Systems

I know there are some websites/softwares where I can watch online live streaming Television. But I haven’t found a nice one. Most of them are repeated tv shows and all. But I don’t want to throw my money to this. So tell me, which a fair software where I can watch live streaming online TV shows.

Get a Slingbox. This device plugs into your home cable TV and Internet. It then streams TV to your Internet connected computer from anywhere you have Internet. There is no monthly fee for this once the device itself it paid up for.

I’m looking for a software werein I can watch the shows currently shown on television at the exact time and day.
And no I’m not looking for uploaded ones.

The only way to do this is to install a tuner card in your computer and use that to pick up the signal.

in ‘amusing ourselves’ to death…the author asserts his theory that television will mean a decrease in intellectuality…as a result of the change of representative medium ( words to images).

Yes, people don’t read as many novels as they used to, but people do read magazines and the internet. Most probably on average people have gotten dumber, thoush, because television doesn’t demand as much intellectually from the person as reading.

However, for the person the is more involved the technicalities of things….computer formats, physics engines, video games, language formats….this all stimulates your brain, I beleive, in more ways than simple reading can do.

The person that wants intellectual stimulation nowadays can get it a lot more readily than in times past…People can still read…as before..

and now there are incredibly different ways to challenge your brain with video games….from the nintendo ds’s brain age…to half life’s (valve software) portal.
I beleive video games are the precursors to learning ‘modules’ that enhance the brain.

They are an iteration of complexity….there is the potential to increase IQ and enhance the brain’s overall abilities with the computer that did not exist before. Also, the dynamics of social life on mtv (as low as they may be) show the realities of ‘dumb’ america and how you should act…for the person that does not like to associate with this (I don’t)….mtv supplies a great way to ‘study’ how the ‘masses’ behave.
I personally have looked down on video games as a ‘waste’ of time..in the past….but as video games have gained sophistication….they have lost their ‘geeky’ feel. They feel more respectable…almost like playing cards…working on your brain.

so, in essence, do video games and popular culture make you smarter? video games in general processing and popular culture in how the ‘masses’ act (I do not like celebrities or how others act, but how the general population acts is essential knowledge to know how to appropriately predict and make plans in your life….for you will eventually interact with someone of this stratum). Just like knowing what ‘emo’ means you can appropriately categorize those that want to fall under such a category….

it supplies good outlets for you to categorize your world, while you, remain above categorization, but still appreciate the tools that allow you to know your soroundings.

I have the need to watch INTERNATIONAL television and have noticed a couple of sites that have what they claim is 3500 channels. You pay once up for the software and away you go.
I want to know if anyone has tried these programs if they are any good, and where can I get a lsit of channels from a particular country.

i remember this show from the early 90s. somewher between 91-94. it was a show that come on the USA network(i think) it was in the same class as the power rangers or VR troopers. all i can remember is the main characters apperance and pieces of the intro. The character was a young guy. and he had 2 friends, one boy and one girl. the kids had some type of ability to go inside of the internet or something dealing with computers. Inside they fought virus or some time of software. the leader when he was in the computer wore a suit that resembles the character "The Gyver" except his suit was red and grey. he could also turn into one of those long asian dragons. i remember also, one of the friends could turn into a track vehicle. i cant remember the last one but i know all 3 could come together to create some other thing. thats all i can remember. if u got any idea as to what i’,m talking about let me know

My high-school is planning to start a television studio that is planning to broadcast first on the Internet, then it will go on cable, or, who knows, even in digital satellite system. Anyway, we have to find very low cost or even free solutions for a real time video editor, a character generator and other software equipment. We are on an extremely tight budget ($100 at most). Please help us!
