I need a DVD software for PC that can play my DVD in at least 1280×960 video resolution. I tried watching DVD on my PC using media player classic and also tried to watch it on my DVD player. The result: DVDplayer has better video quality than PC using Media Player Classic.

I live in Dublin, Ireland and have recently moved into a new apartment. We currently dont have any television signal and none of the cable companies can hook me up. At this stage i’m getting a wee bit fed up so I am looking into downloading some kind of software so I can watch tv on my laptop / pc instead. Any ideas??
