    I use to use …
I use to use Compuserve. I was so happy when they switched from numbers to user names. Since you had to pay by the minute to access the internet, my last Compuserve bill was over $300! That’s what prompted me to get a real internet account. There was no such thing as the World Wide Web yet, so everything was done on the command line, or a shell program. By ’95 I was connecting with ISDN. Then in ’97 I got the first cable modem in Columbus. Woohoo!
