Just purchased a DVBT USB Dongle with software and areal for watching tv & freeview on my laptop. Cannot get a good signal anywhere in my home. Any ideas ?
you will only get a good signal if you have a digital aerial installed on your roof. it wont work with terrestial aerials.If your using the aerial included in your package – it will give a poor signal- or none at all. If you do have a digital aerial and freeview tv, then i suggest you may need to buy a signal booster aerial.
I’ve just installed mine last week. i have no aerial upstairs – only downstairs and i just decided to buy an extension aerial lead from Argos so i can watch on my laptop upstairs. Just connect it to my downstairs digital aerial. It works great but still poor signal on a few stations.
get a good indoor aerial for it

Qvc (tv shopping channel) sell booster aerial and also Currys.Check them both out on internet. http://www.qvcuk.com
If you get a good modem then you should be able to get at least a small signal. =D
