    Just about all of the satellite TV on PC offerings are scams of one sort of another.

    They either claim to offer a number of major broadcast and cable channels but offer only a bunch of minor/niche channels you can find yourself for free, or they do offer said major channels, but they do not for long because they get shut down for illegally distributing the channels, because the service never obtained proper authorization rights. Not that they could obtain those rights..
